About Me
Hello! I'm a marine science researcher and actor currently earning a BS in Marine Biology and a BA in Theater Arts at the University of California, Santa Cruz. I'm equally passionate about marine conservation research and communication and stage performance, and have had experience with both science and theater within and outside of the academic sphere.
I think that in both fields, accessibility is key. What does that mean? To me, it means that lab work and plays shouldn't be for a select community; as much as possible, understanding new research findings or seeing exciting new theater should be available to all. That's where my two very distinct interests meet. I want to communicate my ideas, both scientific and aesthetic, to the largest audience possible. To that end, I have been participating in performances and studying marine biology since childhood. A few key points in that timeline include:

I aim to use my two major skill sets to leave behind a world full of natural and social beauty, inspiring people of all ages with the joy I've always felt when I experience the oceans and live theater.
